We are building a block of three classrooms that will house 200 students. Gemfields also supports two local schools by providing furniture, blackboards, stationery and study materials.

Specifically, Gemfields has also donated:

• Six bicycles to the three local schools to aid the teachers’ transport problems. Before, the teachers used to cover over 15 kms on foot to reach the school.
• Various stationery and footballs to all the three community schools to build motivation and encourage exercise.
• Various educational books to Kalulushi trust school. We are proud to support the school’s Honours Day, which recognises students who show excellent performance in their studies.
